Day 1: Hanoi – Highway – Lao Cai City – Sapa Town – Cat Cat Village (L/D)

06:30 – 07:00
 Pick-up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter and start the scenic, 5 hours drive to Sapa. Enjoy the landscape of the Red River country side and have a short break on the way.

12:30 Walking to ancient church. Visit the central market to experience the unique mountainous Vietnam market. Having lunch in a chic restaurant in Sapa.

14:30 Trekking downward Muong Hoa valley to Cat Cat village, discover the daily life of Black Hmong tribe. Continue to the beautiful waterfall then walk back to Sapa town. Dinner and overnight in Hotel.

Day 2: Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van (B/L/D)

Enjoy your breakfast then check out of the room, then we will walk from Sapa towards Muong Hoa valley where we can admire magnificent landscapes and trek on a small trails going to Y Linh Ho village (with Black Hmong tribe).

Trek through lush rice – terraces towards Lao Chai village, enjoy delicious lunch in the local house near by Muong Hoa River, experiencing Black Hmong people’s daily life and traditional culture. Next cross suspension bridges as you walk through Lao Chai village to Ta Van village inhabited by Dzay minorities exhibiting strong Chinese culture. Overnight at Homestay.

Day 3: Sapa – Hanoi (B/L)
Free time to explore Sapa town by yourself.
Optional Fansipan by cable car: US$ 40.00 per person (Inclusion: transfer, cable car ticket)
The cable car system in Sapa is the world’s longest and highest cable car, running up from sleepy Sapa Town in Lao Cai Province to the peak of 3.143-meter. Fansipan Mountain, known as Indochina’s rooftop. Reaching Mount Fansipan used to mean a full-day hike at least. But from Feb 2016 the trek up will be reduced to a 25-minute flight by cable car. The 6.5km long cable car can carry a maximum of 2,000 passengers an hour, with each cabin accommodating 35 passengers.
16:00 Get on bus back to Hanoi with two comfort breaks.
20:45 Tour end in Hanoi Old Quarter.

Thing to bring

  • Warm clothes, scarf, hat, cap because the weather in Sapa is pretty unpredictable. It is normally cold in September, October, November, December, January, February and March.
  • Due to altitude of Sapa, it is sometimes foggy in December, January, February and March.
  • Trekking shoes, sun glasses, sun cream, insect repellent are also necessary. You should take cash with you in Vietnam Dong because banking system in Sapa sometimes doesn’t function well. US Dollar, Euro, Australia Dollar are accepted in Sapa.
  • You should take medicine with you although there are some chemist’s shops in Sapa in case you get sick.
